Oconee County Planning Department Wraps Up Three Days Of Meetings and Workshops Regarding Highway 123 Corridor Project

(Seneca, SC)——————The Oconee County Planning Department wrapped up three days of meetings and workshops yesterday as they gained input from citizens regarding the Highway 123 Corridor Project.

Adam Chapman, who is the Planning Director for Oconee County, says they received great input from citizens over the last three days and that there was a tremendous outshowing of public support and input during the past few days with at least 50 individuals as of late morning yesterday giving their ideas.

Chapman says that Ulta Planning and Design will take the information collected and provide a draft document sometime in the month of April that will be presented to the Planning Commission. The Planning Commission will then decide whether to send the document to Oconee County Council for further discussion. It will then be up to Council to decide how to proceed from there if that happens, according to Chapman.
