Oconee County School Board Meeting Agenda Highlights for Monday; Reminds Parents of 4K Screenings This Month

The School District of Oconee County Board of Trustees will convene Monday, March 9, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. in the School Board Conference Room at 414 South Pine Street, Walhalla. Following the welcome, invocation, and agenda approval, the meeting will feature school highlights from Walhalla Elementary and Keowee Elementary.

Public comment will then be accepted (limited to five minutes per speaker or ten minutes for a group representative on one issue), followed by discussion of the February financial report and budget review by function, field maintenance updates, proposed policy changes on field trips (IJOA-E) and staff leaves/absences (GCC/GCD), the superintendent’s report, board member comments, executive session for personnel items, any resulting open-session actions, and adjournment.
