Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Apprehends Wanted Individual

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is pleased to announce the arrest of 36-year-old Zackary Edwin Sterling Fiskeaux of Blueberry Hill Road, Mountain Rest. Fiskeaux was wanted on multiple charges including domestic violence of a high and aggravated nature, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, and grand larceny related to an assault on September 27th. In this incident, Fiskeaux is alleged to have choked and struck an adult female before stealing her 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe. Additionally, Fiskeaux is charged with second-degree assault and battery for allegedly cutting a man with an unknown object on E. Main Street in Westminster. He is now in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center awaiting bond and judicial proceedings.
