Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrest Seneca Man on Grand Larceny Charge

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested a Seneca man recently on a Grand Larceny charge. 32 year old Kevin Troy Moyers is accused of taking a gold 2003 Mercedes Benz S500 automobile, which is valued at around $6,300, from an address on South Walnut Street and South King Street near Seneca, on January 26th. 

The victim told the Sheriff’s Office that a discussion took place in regards to Moyers borrowing the vehicle but they never came to an agreement. After falling asleep, the victim discovered his vehicle was gone. The victim stated he made contact with Moyers, who agree to return the vehicle within two hours, but Moyers did not do so. The victim wished to pursue charges and the deputy obtained an arrest warrant against Moyers.
