Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Belton Man on Charges in Criminal Sexual Conduct Investigation
A Belton man remains in jail today after his arrest on charges related to the sexual assault of a minor. Michael Don Ray Brammer, 20, of Sherwood Drive, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center on Thursday morning.

Brammer faces five counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct with a Minor – 2nd Degree. The investigation began when a School Resource Officer was alerted by a school employee about a sexual assault report made by a teenage victim.
Based on evidence gathered during the investigation, a Violent Crimes Investigator with the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office filed charges against Brammer for sexually assaulting the victim on multiple occasions in 2025.
Brammer is being held on a combined surety bond of $125,000. If he is released, he will be required to wear a GPS monitor. To protect the victim’s identity, the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office will not release any further information that could identify the minor.
