Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Five in Search for Homicide Suspect

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested five individuals last week during a search related to a homicide investigation led by the Anderson County Sheriff’s Office. The search, which included a warrant execution and two traffic stops on February 26, 2025, resulted in multiple charges.
The search warrant at Humbert Street in the Utica Mill Hill area led to the arrest of 22-year-old Daylyn Christopher Kennel, who was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and a controlled substance after nearly five pounds of marijuana were seized.
Additionally, 21-year-old Isaiah Lee Matthew Smalley was arrested for unlawful possession of a firearm after a stolen handgun was found. Smalley, along with 26-year-old Benjamin Cornilus Lattimore, was also charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana after a traffic stop on Blue Ridge Boulevard yielded more marijuana.
In a second traffic stop, 20-year-old Antonio Moleke Montana Pasco was apprehended for possession with intent to distribute marijuana and a fugitive from justice warrant for aggravated assault charges in Georgia.
The final arrest was 20-year-old Tyler Benjamin Robinson, who was charged with simple possession of marijuana. All five individuals were booked into jail, with bonds ranging from $615 to $10,000. The investigation continues.
