Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Four Subjects as a Result of a Burglary Investigation

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested and charged four subjects late Saturday night and early Sunday morning as a result of a burglary investigation. The names and charges for the subjects are as follows:

• 33 year old Paul Andreas Cleveland of Seneca on one count each of Second Degree Burglary and Trespassing. Cleveland remains in custody at this time at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $25,257.50 surety bond.
• 29 year old Kimberley Dawn Mize of Seneca on one count each of Second Degree Burglary and Trespassing. Mize remains in custody at this time at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $10,257.50 surety bond.
• 48 year old Ladelle Rogers Martin of Anderson on one count of Trespassing. Martin was released from the Oconee County Detention Center on a $257.50 personal recognizance bond Sunday.
• 46 year old Melissa Ann Driver of Seneca on one count each of Second Degree Burglary, Trespassing and Possession of Methamphetamine. Driver remains in custody at this time at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $15,257.50 surety bond.

An investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division was conducting a property check at an address on Sitton Mill Road nears Seneca in regards to an ongoing burglary investigation. After arriving on scene, the deputy discovered a vehicle on scene identified as a suspect vehicle based on evidence obtained during the investigation. The investigator requested additional units to respond to his location.

The deputy located one subject, identified as Martin, inside of the vehicle and located another subject, identified as Driver; exit a dwelling on the property. The investigator detained both subjects while also hearing noise inside of the dwelling indicating additional subjects inside. The subjects appeared to have fled from the scene out of a door of the dwelling. The investigator did not locate anyone else inside.

Based on evidence obtained during the investigation, investigators located the additional subjects, Cleveland and Mize, at a separate location. Both subjects were brought back to the property.

All of the subjects were placed under arrest and were transported to the Oconee County Detention Center. Before being transported from the scene, deputies discovered a quantity of narcotics on the person of Driver.

The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office is continuing with its investigation.
