Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Oconee County Man on Multiple Warrants, Including First Degree Burglary

(Walhalla, SC)————A Uniform Patrol Division Deputy, on routine patrol in the Townville area overnight Monday, arrested an Oconee County man on multiple outstanding warrants after a traffic stop.

32 year old Jeremiah Keith Youngblood, who has listed address in Fair Play and Seneca, was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center around 1:44am Monday morning. Youngblood had outstanding warrants, from the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office, on charges of First Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny.

Youngblood, who also had three outstanding General Session Bench Warrants, remains in custody at the Oconee County Detention Center on a combined $61,710 surety bond on the Sheriff’s Office charges. Youngblood was also issued citations on charges of Driving under Suspension and for Driving an Uninsured Vehicle in regards to the overnight traffic stop.

The deputy initiated a traffic stop on the vehicle on Pine Grove Road near Hunt Road due to a traffic violation and an incorrectly displayed tag. The vehicle was occupied by Youngblood, who was the driver, and a female passenger. A check with dispatch revealed that Youngblood had outstanding active warrants. The female was released from the
scene and Youngblood was transported to the Detention Center.

The First Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny charges against Youngblood stem from an investigation into a break-in and theft that occurred in June of this year at an address on Stonebrook Drive near the Bountyland Community.

According to arrest warrants obtained by an investigator from the Criminal Investigations Division, Youngblood, and 34 year old Timothy Corey Lear of Westminster, are accused of breaking into a home and stealing multiple items, which included firearms and a guitar.
Lear was arrested after a warrant service on June 21st of this year and booked into the Oconee County Detention Center the morning of June 22nd. Lear was served arrest warrants charging him with First Degree Burglary and Grand Larceny in regards to the same incident. Lear has been in custody since his arrest in June with a bond set at more than $100,000.
