Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Arrests Seneca Man On Multiple Property Crimes Charges

(Seneca, SC)——————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a Seneca man on multiple property crime charges. 25 year old Dellen James Metz was served with arrest warrants charging him with Third Degree Burglary, Possession of Tools Capable to be Used in the Commission of a Crime, Malicious Injury to Personal Property and Petit Larceny. Deputies responded to an address on Timberlake One Circle near Townville on February 16th in regards to a burglary in progress. While on scene beginning an investigation, the property owner at an address across the road discovered items missing from a storage shed. Metz is accused of causing damage to the storage shed in regards to the break-in of the storage shed. Metz is also accused of stealing a black Utility Cart and a tool. The tools capable of being used in a burglary were found at the address of the original call.
