The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office arrested 18-year-old Trenton N. Porter of Asheville, NC, on Tuesday in connection with two separate criminal investigations at the same auto dealership on Clemson Boulevard.

Porter was arrested in Cleveland County, NC, and transported to Oconee County, where he remains in custody on a $72,125 bond. The first investigation dates back to December 30, 2024, when deputies responded to reports of vehicle break-ins at the dealership.

Evidence collected led to charges of malicious injury to property and grand larceny, as Porter allegedly damaged several vehicles and stole a 2018 Chevrolet Camaro, valued at $64,987.

The second investigation occurred on January 31, 2025, when deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person. They discovered a break-in and the theft of vehicle keys. Porter now faces charges of second-degree burglary, petit larceny, and malicious injury to property for the second incident.
