Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Charges Seneca Man With Burglary And Larceny Of The Fishin Hole

(Seneca, SC)——————The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest in its investigation into a burglary that occurred at The Fishing Hole location back on August 6th.

William Kyle Melvin of Seneca has been charged with one count each of Second Degree Burglary, Malicious Injury to Personal Property and Petit Larceny.

According to arrest warrants obtained by the Sheriff’s Office, Melvin entered the business during the nighttime hours, broke the glass of the front door entrance causing $800 dollars in damage and carried away items that were valued at over $1,500.

In the press release issued by the Sheriff’s Office, the agency said that if anyone is in possession of any stolen items from the business that they can be returned to the Sheriff’s Office without criminal penalty through the end of August.
