Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Charges Westminster Man with Domestic Violence – High and Aggravated Charge
(Seneca, SC)————————An investigation into a reported hit and run automobile accident by the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office led deputies to obtain an arrest warrant charging a Westminster man with Domestic Violence – High and Aggravated. 33 year old Edmond Joshua Eric Sexton was arrested Sunday morning and is accused by deputies of ramming a vehicle containing his wife and three children with a vehicle that he was operating. According to the arrest warrant, the victim’s vehicle was stationary on a public road and Sexton intentionally drove his vehicle into the victim’s vehicle.
According to the arrest warrant, the incident occurred at the intersection of Highway 183 at Christopher Road during late afternoon hours of February 16th.
At this time, Sexton remains at the Oconee County Detention Center after his arrest as bond was denied. Sexton will appear at a later time before a Circuit Court Judge in regards to his bond.
