Oconee County Sheriff’s Office Makes Arrests After Wednesday Afternoon Pursuit
(Seneca, SC)—————-The Oconee County Sheriff’s Office made an arrest yesterday after a pursuit. 33 year old Richard William Shumsky led a Sheriff’s Office deputy on a pursuit in an area north of Bountyland and near Lake Keowee before crashing his vehicle into a tree on Sugarhill Road before being taken into custody. Shumsky was found to be in possession of a quantity of Narcotics.
Shumsky has been charged by the Sheriff’s Office with Distribution of Methamphetamine – 2nd Offense, Driving Under Suspension and Failure to Stop for a Blue Light. Shumsky was given a combined $35,100 surety bond.
