Oconee County Veteran’s Affairs Office To Hold Drop-In For Purple Heart Veterans Wednesday
(Seneca, SC)——-The Oconee County Veteran’s Affairs Office will be hosting a special drop in for veterans who are Purple Heart Recipients this Wednesday, August 7th from 9am until 11am in recognition of National Purple Heart Day.
Oconee County Veteran’s Affairs Director Jerry Dyar says that drop-in is open to purple heart veteran’s who are residing in Oconee County as well as those Purple Heart Veteran’s in the counties surrounding Oconee County.
Dyar says that coffee and breakfast items will be served during the drop-in for the combat wounded veterans and their wife or friend.
The Oconee County Veteran’s Affairs Office is located at 223 Kenneth Street in Walhalla.
