Oconee Humane Society hosting Christmas Paw-ty

The Oconee Humane Society and Oconee County Animal Control are hosting a Christmas Paw-ty and low cost microchip event on Saturday, Dec. 9, tells Angel Newman, Volunteer Coordinator of the Oconee Humane Society. “What we are trying to do is have our holiday Christmas Paw-ty for the shelter pets early, so we are doing that on Saturday, Dec. 9, from 10am to 3pm. We encourage everybody to come out and see all the pets. If your going to adopt one, get them early before all the holiday hustle and bustle begins and you can get them integrated into your home and they can be part of your family for Christmas. The bonus that we are doing is a gift you can actually give to your pets. In conjunction with Oconee County Animal Control we are going to be offering microchips for all pets for only $20.”
The Christmas Paw-ty takes place from 10am to 3pm this Saturday at the shelter located at 1925 Sandifer Boulevard in Seneca.
