Oconee Roads Need Improvement Say Some Residents

Oconee County’s Council and Planning Commission have heard area residents express concerns recently about the need to make improvements to the county’s roads in the interest of convenience and safety.

Highways 130 and 123 are of particular concern and already a meeting has been called for with the local transportation department by one council member.

In the Southern Oconee community of Fair Play, there is worry among some residents about new traffic that will come with a new gas station being built along I-85.
