OCPL celebrates 70th Anniversary with Special Library Cards

Be one of the first people to get a brand new special edition library card by entering the Oconee County Public Library’s (OCPL) photo contest, tells Leah Price, Westminster Branch Manager and OCPL Publicity Coordinator. “We are excited to celebrate our 70 years of service to Oconee County and offer these cards to our customers. The library has never had library cards like this before. Take a picture of yourself or your family showing your library cards. Don’t have a library card? Get creative and take a picture anyway. Post that picture on Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter with the hashtag #CelebrateOCPL. Winners will be randomly chosen from #CelebrateOCPL tagged pictures to receive a new special edition card and a prize pack full of OCPL goodies. Pictures may also be submitted via email to [email protected]. These special edition library cards will be available mid-July for new members or as replacements for $2.” The last day to post a picture is June 29. Winners will be announced July 5, 2018.
