OCPL celebrating 70 Years Today

In celebration of their 70th anniversary, the Oconee County Public Library (OCPL) will serve cupcakes and other refreshments at all branches today, Oct. 18, says Director Blair Hinson. “Thursday, Oct. 18, is our anniversary, so we will be doing a Throwback Thursday with the staff, everybody will be dressed in old 1940s or 1950s outfits. We will be doing cupcakes at the Bookmobile stop at Fair Play Presbyterian Church from 1:30-3pm and then at all the branches from 4-5pm.” The library will be giving away prizes through contests on their Facebook page as well.
