OEA announces Speaker for June Business Forum

The June Business Forum of the Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) is Thursday, June 14. This month’s forum will feature Leslie Hagerty, the Director and Curator of the Oconee Heritage Center. The OEA Business Forum is a monthly opportunity for citizens and business leaders to come together in Oconee County to network, receive timely updates on topics facing the community and discuss ways to work together in making Oconee County a better place. As a part of the #GiveOconee initiative, each month the OEA features an Oconee County based nonprofit and solicits help in meeting their immediate needs. This month the OEA is proud to feature the Oconee Heritage Center and asks that you help meet their immediate needs for office supplies, HP Ink 932/933 cartridges, copy paper (letter or legal size), file folders (regular and hanging), envelopes (standard and shipping sizes), adhesive address labels (any size), brochure holders, three-ring binders, tab dividers, notepads, jump drives or external storage drives, laminating sheets, subscription to The Journal, command strips, tape, cleaning supplies, glass cleaner, bathroom cleaner, floor cleaner (wood, laminate, tile), trash bags (any size), paper towels, disinfectant spray, dusters, facial tissues and gift cards to Hobby Lobby, Walmart, Staples, Ingles, and Amazon (for supplies). There will be a designated location for your donations at the forum but monetary donations are also accepted. The forum begins at 8am on June 14, and the public is encouraged to attend this free event at Thrift Development, located at 180 Bountyland Road in Seneca. The Business Forum is made possible by the generous support of the OEA membership.
