OEA hosts Business Forum Today

The Oconee Economic Alliance (OEA) hosts the September Business Forum today, Sept. 13, 2018. This month’s business forum will feature Chris Rimel, Communications Manager for Duke Energy’s nuclear stations in South Carolina. He arrived in 2016 at Duke Energy from the Institute of Nuclear Operations in Atlanta, where he served as a nuclear safety evaluator. He has an MBA from Georgia Tech and has done post-graduate work at MIT. He lives in Clemson with his wife and two children, ages eight and four. The OEA Business Forum is a monthly opportunity for citizens and business leaders to come together in Oconee County to network, receive timely updates on topics facing the community and discuss ways to work together in making Oconee County a better place. As a part of the OEA’s #GiveOconee initiative, each month the OEA will feature an Oconee County based nonprofit and solicit your help in meeting their immediate needs. This month the OEA features Ripple of One and Executive Director Stephanie Enders. Please help meet their immediate need for 5×7 non-spiral journals, children’s water bottles and individually packaged kids snacks. There will be a designated location for your donations at the forum. The OEA thanks you in advance for your help. Their goal is to challenge you to #ThinkOconee when you shop, eat, and play, but also when you give. The forum begins at 8am and the public is encouraged to attend this free event at Thrift Development, located at 180 Bountyland Road in Seneca. The Oconee Business Forum is made possible by the generous support of the OEA membership.
