OHC hosting Community Appreciation Day

Join the Oconee Heritage Center (OHC) on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 11am to 5pm for a Community Appreciation Day. “The OHC has overcome many challenges and seen some great progress recently thanks to the support of the local community. We want to celebrate with you. Come see what’s new, enjoy a hot dog lunch, and talk to us about how you can get involved in preserving Oconee County’s heritage,” said OHC assistant curator and education specialist Jennifer Moss. OHC will be selling hot dog plates that include hot dog, chips, and drink for $5. Everyone is invited to attend. The OHC is located at 123 Brown’s Square Drive in Walhalla.
