Ohio Man Arrested By Seneca Police On Multiple Charges After Motor Vehicle Accident

(Seneca, SC)————–     The Seneca Police Department has charged an Newark, Ohio man this week with three separate charges after officers responded to reports of an accident on the Highway 123 by-pass Tuesday morning. 34 year old Thaddeus John Glaub has been charged with Driving Under the Influence, Leaving the Scene of an Accident Involving Unattended Vehicles and Failure to Yield the Right of Way. 

Officers arrived on scene around 6:15am Tuesday after being dispatched and upon arriving on scene, discovered one of the vehicles involved in the accident and asked the driver to move into the parking lot of a business on the by-pass. Officers were told that a second vehicle was seen going behind the business, leaving the area of the accident. Officers discovered the vehicle behind the business and discovered an individual walking in the parking lot of the business. 

As the investigation continued, officers determined that Glaub was in operation of the vehicle in question that was in the parking lot and after a field sobriety test, Glaub was transported to the Oconee County Detention Center, where he was given a Breath Analysis test. According to the case report, the test revealed that Glaub was under the influence more than 2 times above the legal limit. He was booked into the Oconee County Detention Center Tuesday afternoon.
