Over 350 Students participate in Spring Commencement at TCTC

Over 350 students crossed the stage at Littlejohn Coliseum Monday night during Tri-County Technical College’s (TCTC) spring commencement ceremony. Dr. Tom Lawrence, Dean of the Arts and Sciences Division at TCTC, attended the ceremony and shared these thoughts. “It was a fantastic, exciting event last night. We had an extremely large crowd, which is certainly something to say if you have ever been in Littlejohn Coliseum, knowing how many folks we can pack in there. It was really electric. We had Mr. Tommy Preston, Jr., director of National Strategy and Engagement and Government Operations at Boeing South Carolina as our commencement speaker. I think he really energized the crowd and the students. I think we had one of our larger graduating classes last night, well over 500 credentials awarded and over 350 students participated in the ceremony. So, it was a great event to cap off the academic year.” Graduates were awarded degrees, diplomas, or certificates during the College’s commencement.
