Over 900 Tested at Community COVID-19 Test Site Tuesday in Seneca

Yesterday, according to Prisma Health officials, 924 people were tested during an 11 hour long COVID-19 community testing event, the second such event held at Blue Ridge Elementary in Seneca, but the first held for that length of time. Until Tuesday, community testing events lasted approximately four hours. Area residents waited for up to an hour to get the swab test to determine if they are infectious or not. The tests were given by Prisma Health in conjunction with the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control with assistance from Bowers EMS and the local National Guard, who was on hand to help coordinate traffic.
