Painting planned for Ram Cat Alley this Weekend

A fresh coat of paint is going on the street poles of Ram Cat Alley in downtown Seneca this weekend. The City of Seneca announces that crews will be painting the street poles late Sunday night until early Monday morning, weather permitting, explains Seneca Utilities Director Bob Faires. “That was something Mayor Dan Alexander and City Administrator Scott Moulder were wanting to do to dress up Ram Cat Alley a little bit more. So, we will changing out the globes; we’ve changed all the lights there to LED and we will be painting the poles. We’ve got a contractor coming in who does that type of work and so they will be coming in, weather permitting, this Sunday and Monday to complete that work. So, hopefully next week at this time they’ll be a little bit fresher look to our light poles on Ram Cat Alley.” Depending on this project, the city could paint other street poles in the future.
