Palmetto State Closer to Business As Usual

South Carolina is closer to fully reopening its economy today as public pools, gyms, salons, barber shops and other close contact businesses can resume operations. Those have been closed since April 1, and as of today it’s up to business owners to decide if they are ready to reopen or not. Schools will remain closed and other gatherings will still be limited to small groups of less than 10 as the coronavirus pandemic continues, Gov. Henry McMaster said.

Dine-in restaurants were allowed to reopen last week with reduced seating and strict sanitation rules.
