Person of Interest Named in Double Homicide

Deputies in Anderson County have named a person of interest in a double homicide that happened Saturday.

A man and a woman were found shot dead inside a camper on Cedar Grove Road when crews responded for a fire.

The Anderson County coroner identified the victims as Billy Ray Johnson, 57, and Amy Jo Lambert, 30.

On Sunday, deputies identified McKenzie Maxine Carey as a person of interest in the case. Deputies said she was found Sunday evening, and said they also located a white work van belonging to one of the victims, that was missing from the home Saturday.
