Pet-Friendly Shelter Resources available for Hurricane Michael Evacuees

RedRover Responders stand ready to deploy and provide emergency sheltering assistance to animals displaced by Hurricane Michael, if help is needed and requested. Since 1987, RedRover Responders has worked in cooperation with law enforcement, local agencies, and animal organizations to shelter and care for animals displaced by natural disasters and other crises. With more than 4,000 trained volunteers in the United States and Canada, RedRover can deploy its volunteers quickly when communities become overburdened by a crisis involving large numbers of animals. In its 31-year history, RedRover has responded to 190 natural disasters and other crises nationwide including Hurricanes Irma, Harvey, Katrina, Fran, Hugo and many more.
