Pets for Vets

In honor of our Nation’s Veterans, the Oconee Humane Society is hosting a three-day adoption event Nov. 10-12, at PetSmart in Seneca dubbed “Pets for Vets,” where Veterans can adopt a dog or cat for only $10. And those who proudly support Veterans can adopt a pet for only $25. Dogs are normally $85 and cats $75, so this is a great opportunity for people to adopt a furry friend. Adoptable pets will be at PetSmart Friday and Saturday from 11am to 4pm and Sunday from noon to 4pm. The Oconee Humane Society shelter will be closed on Friday, Nov. 10.
