Pickens County Council Addresses Roads, Property, and Development Tonight

The Pickens County Council is meeting tonight, Tuesday, September 2nd, at 6:30 p.m. to discuss first readings of several ordinances. The agenda includes ordinances related to the “efficient, safe operation and maintenance of the county road system” and “unsafe property conditions.”

Council will also hold a public hearing and a final vote on a fee-in-lieu tax agreement for a project known as “Project Exodus,” which has been revealed to be Peabody Engineering. The meeting will be held in council chambers at the county administration facility, 222 McDaniel Avenue in Pickens.
