Pickens County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Public’s Help In Locating Attempted Murder Suspect

(Seneca, SC)———–The Pickens County Sheriff’s Office is continuing to seek the public’s help today in their search for a Six Mile man wanted on charges of Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During Commission of a Violent Crime. 

39 year old Boyce Derek Lowrance is accused in arrest warrants of cutting the neck of his ex-girlfriend with a knife during a verbal altercation last Friday morning. The victim, according to the arrest warrants, sustained a laceration to her ear and neck. 

The incident occurred at an address on N. Old Mill Road in Easley, which is the victim’s home address. 

Deputies responded to the incident location around 7:15am, according to a press release from the Pickens County Sheriff’s Office. The victim was transported to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. According to the same release, the victim is expected to make a full recovery. 

The suspect fled on foot before deputies arrived.
