Pickens Man Dies in Greenville County Motorcycle Crash

Joshua Robert Gardo, a 27-year-old Pickens resident and firefighter with the Gantt District Fire Department, was killed in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash on Ashmore Bridge Road in Mauldin on November 16, 2025, at approximately 6:30 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene at 6:48 p.m. The Greenville County Coroner’s Office has ruled the death accidental due to blunt force injuries, with preliminary information indicating the motorcycle left the roadway. An external examination was conducted on November 17, 2025, but results are not yet available. The incident remains under investigation by the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the Mauldin Police Department.
