Poll Workers reminded about Tuesday’s Runoff

The Republican Primary Runoff is Tuesday, June 26. Oconee County Voter Registration and Elections Director Joy Scharich is reminding poll workers to go to their precincts. “Poll workers have already trained for the primary and the runoff, so we don’t meet again. Just a quick reminder that everything stays the same procedure wise, pick up of supplies and show up at your polling place to work.” The polls open at 7am on June 26, for the Republican Primary Runoffs and close at 7pm. Regular voting rules apply as far as the requirement of a photo ID in order to cast a ballot. This runoff is for Republican voters only as they will be deciding who will be the party’s candidates for governor, attorney general, congress and house district races in the General Election on Nov. 6.
