POWER OUTAGES IN ANDERSON COUNTY

Anderson County’s Emergency Operations Center remains open this morning and at Operating Condition level 2 due to reports of downed trees and power lines. Operational staffing is limited and will likely remain so until approximately 12:00 p.m. today. Currently, approximately 1,300 residents are without power and a dozen trees have been reported down and blocking roadways. There have been no reports of injuries or structural damage. Anderson County residents are advised to exercise caution as they commute this morning with windy conditions and over-saturated soil likely to result in falling debris throughout the morning.
