Preparations In Seneca Continue For First Alley To The Valley Three Weeks From Today

(Seneca, SC)—–Preparations are continuing in the city of Seneca for the first Alley to the Valley on Thursday, August 29th when Clemson hosts Georgia Tech in Death Valley to kick off defense of their National Championship.

Alley to the Valley will give those fans that are going to the game an opportunity to park downtown and tailgate and then get transportation to and from the seven Clemson home games this season.

Also going on that night will be the regularly scheduled Jazz on the Alley.  Seneca City Administrator said that night the Clemson/Georgia Tech will be showing on the TV screen.

Moulder said that they are to limit the shuttle service to those who have tickets and are going to the game, which was a request made by Clemson University and the city wants to honor that.

Moulder says that the city will have their table area set up about 5 hours before kickoff for the game, which will enable the city to hand out some items to those taking advantage of the service.

The shuttle service will start two hours before the game and will run every 15 to 30 minutes depending on the number of buses used.  The drop off point before the game and the pick-up point after the game at Clemson will be the old Y Beach area.  A shuttle service will transport fans to and from Death Valley before and after the game from the old Y Beach area.  There will be shuttle’s that will run at 30 minutes, 60 minutes and 90 minutes after the game to bring fans back to Seneca.
