Public access to the Oconee County Clerk of Court’s Office and the Oconee County Courthouse is restricted

Clerk of Court Operations – In order to continue to provide essential services to our citizens and protect the health and well-being of both citizens and staff, the Oconee County Clerk of Court’s Office has implemented the following precautionary measures:
 Public access to the Oconee County Clerk of Court’s Office and the Oconee
County Courthouse is restricted.
 All in-person payments are accepted via the drive-through at the Oconee County
Courthouse.
 The Clerk of Court’s Office will maintain regular hours of operation Monday
through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Emergency hearings will continue to be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays, as needed.
Any hearings on non-emergency matters will be scheduled / rescheduled for a future
date and time. The Oconee County Clerk of Court’s Office will be in communication
with attorneys and parties to litigation regarding rescheduling. Continuances and
extensions will be granted as appropriate.
