Register for Community First Bank Crimestoppers of OC Golf Tournament

The Community First Bank 2018 Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. Golf Tournament is now just a little over five weeks away. The tournament, held this year during Law Enforcement Officers Appreciation Week, will be held at the Oconee Country Club, a par-71, 6,051 yard course in Seneca on Friday, May 18, with a noon shotgun start. “Since 2014, Oconee Country Club has been the home course for our Crimestoppers golf tournaments,” says Jimmy Watt, Public Information Officer for the Oconee County Sheriff’s Office and the coordinator of the Crimestoppers program in Oconee. “We are excited that Oconee Country Club will again be hosting this year’s Community First Bank 2018 Crimestoppers golf tournament. The hospitality and assistance from Oconee Country Club has been wonderful and we are looking forward to a great tournament on a fantastic championship golf course. Registration for teams and/or hole sponsors is continuing and will continue for the next few weeks so for those looking to participate, now is the time to do so.” Community First Bank will be the title sponsor for this year’s tournament. Also, Oconee Federal Savings and Loan is sponsoring the dinner that is being held after the golf tournament while Chick-fi-A of Seneca and Clemson will provide lunch before the tournament begins. Registration for the Community First Bank 2018 Crimestoppers of Oconee County, Inc. Golf Tournament will begin at 10am the day of the tournament. The field will consist of 25, four-man Captain’s Choice teams. The cost per player is $60 or $240 for a team. Hole sponsorships are available for $100 each. Also again this year, for $150 each, hole sponsors can have their hole sponsorship signs displayed not only at the golf tournament but also at the Crimestoppers Apple Festival Car Show in September in Westminster during the 2018 Apple Festival.
