Register for Festival of Eggs at World of Energy

Duke Energy’s World of Energy education center at Oconee Nuclear Station hosts the Festival of Eggs display March 26 through April 6 and registration is now open, tells Mikayla Kreuzberger, Corporate Communications for Duke Energy’s World of Energy. “This is a public voting contest during which uniquely decorated eggs are on display at the World of Energy. Registration is now open for nonprofit organizations to sign up to decorate a blue or green, 16-inch plastic egg. After the public voting contest ends April 6, Duke Energy will grant first-, second- and third-place winners monetary awards in the amounts of $500 for first, $400 for second and $300 for third.” To reserve an egg or to learn more about contest guidelines, contact the World of Energy at 864-873-4600 or [email protected].
