Rehabilitation Project underway on Bypass 123

State and federal funds are rehabilitating a busy road in Seneca this week. Work began Monday, June 18, on nearly two miles of Bypass 123 from Walnut Street to West North 1st Street. This is part of the South Carolina Department of Transportation’s road pavement improvement projects in 2018. One lane of traffic in each direction will be closed during the repaving. Motorists are urged to use caution driving in this area and watch for workers and equipment in the roadway.
