Relay for Life this Friday at SHS
This Friday, May 9, at Seneca High School, the community gathers to celebrate the fight against cancer. It is the American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event. Every Relay For Life event is a time for family and friends to honor cancer survivors, remember those lost to this disease, and raise funds and awareness to help end cancer forever. Funds raised through Relay for Life afford people the information and tools they need to avoid getting cancer or find the disease early, when it is easiest to treat. They also have a place to turn for help, 24/7 and benefit from the progress being made toward finding cancer’s causes and cures. People can also get access to lifesaving screenings and treatment. Relay For Life events are our opportunity to inspire hope by raising funds and awareness to help those facing the disease.
