Resisting Arrest, Other Charges Filed in Local Weekend Arrests

According to jail records, on Saturday Oconee County Deputies arrested 37 year-old Justin James Ludwig and charged him with three counts of assaulting an officer while resisting arrest and two counts of third degree assault and battery. His bond was set at more than $30,000 and he remains in custody at this time.

Also on Saturday, Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Demarcus Shawntez Taylor, age 29, and charged him with threatening the life of a public employee, resisting arrest, indecent exposure and exposure of private parts in a lewd manner. His bond was set at $50,000 and, which was posted, according to jail records.
