Richardson to speak at OC Event

Pro baseball’s award-winning second baseman Bobby Richardson will be a key speaker at a four-evening event called Men United In Oconee.  The event will be held at various venues the second and fourth Saturdays of August and September. Richardson, who helped lead the New York Yankees through one of the team’s most successful stretches from 1955-66, is scheduled to speak at 6pm, August 11 at the Walhalla High School auditorium. Other speakers and locations include Ashley Williams of Families Fighting Addiction on August 25 at Walhalla’s Truth Outreach Church, former Hell’s Angel member Mac Gober at Seneca’s Whitestone Freedom Fellowship on September 8, and Wayne Powell of Teen Challenge at Seneca’s Life Changing Ministries on September 22.
