SC Foothills Heritage Fair Activities today

A number of exciting activities are planned for today at the fifth annual South Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair, explains Fair Board President Stanley Gibson. “We have an exciting day planned for today, beginning at 1pm it is Senior Day and all those individuals 55 and up get in for only $1.  We are going to have special entertainment for you.  Also beginning at 5pm, the Blue Ridge Electric Coop Connection Card will get you $1 off your admission from 5pm to 10pm.   We have the King Arthur Flour-Baking Contest in the Baking Exhibit Hall, the USVCHA Cattle Dog Trial in the Outdoor Arena (if you have never seen the dogs working the cattle before, it is a very interesting thing to watch), and Mr. Twister will be entertaining everyone on the main stage at 6:30pm.  Do not forget the Power Parade, which will be moving around the main tent at 7pm.  On Wednesday, we also have a Praise and Worship planned.  So come enjoy your time at the fair with the food, rides and exhibits.” The South Carolina Foothills Heritage Fair is located at 178 Hayfield Road off Highway 123 near Blue Ridge Electric Cooperative.  To learn more about the fair, visit www.carolinafoothillsheritagefair.org.
