SC Prosecutor to observe Children’s Advocacy Day

South Carolina’s top prosecutor is drawing attention to the needs of the state’s children. Attorney General Alan Wilson says he is observing 2013 Children’s Advocacy Day this week. On Tuesday, Wilson is planning to hold a news conference at the Statehouse with legislators and advocates for children’s issues.  Children’s Advocacy Day is hosted by the South Carolina Network of Children’s Advocacy Centers. Wilson says the group provides training, assistance and support services to Children’s Advocacy Centers and other community partners.  Wilson says more than 7,000 children were served last year by Children’s Advocacy Centers throughout South Carolina.
