SDOC Joins #BeTheLight Campaign

Next Friday May 8th at 8:20 pm, the School District of Oconee County will join in the national #BeTheLight campaign. The lights at all three SDOC high school stadiums will be turned on for 20 minutes to recognize and honor the Class of 2020. All seniors are invited to drive through campus during this time. All students and families must remain in their cars and travel only on the designated route at each school. All social distancing measures will be followed during this time. Each high school has a specific set of directions, and they are as follows: At Seneca High School, Seniors are to enter the driveway nearest the DMV and exit to the right onto Wells Highway. At Walhalla High School, Seniors enter at the south entrance and exit onto Hwy 11 from the north, while Seniors at West-Oak High will enter onto Stadium Drive from Hwy 24 and exit onto Hwy 24 from Warrior Lane.
