SDOC recognizes Teacher of the Year

Congratulations to Michael Jensen, this year’s Teacher of the Year for the School District of Oconee County.  Jensen is a US history teacher at Walhalla High School.  Congratulations are also extended to Cindy Thibodeaux, the Support Employee of the Year and to Teresa Chastain, Volunteer of the Year.  The District also recognized the Teacher of the Year for each individual school.  Oconee County Schools Superintendent Dr. Mike Lucas said, “I extend my congratulations to all who were recognized.  We have great teachers, support staff and volunteers!  Thanks for all you do to support our public schools!”
