SDOC WEATHER STATEMENT
The School District of Oconee County is closely monitoring the weather system approaching our area. As weather decisions are made, our top priority is the safety of our students and staff members, while maintaining in-person learning whenever it is safe to do so.
At this time, the following decisions have been made:
- Friday Evening activities will continue as planned.
- Any Saturday and Sunday activities are cancelled.
We will continue to monitor conditions and remain in close communication with local emergency preparedness officials throughout the weekend. Based on current weather projections, we anticipate that a decision about school for Monday, January 26th will be made no later than early Sunday evening.
