Search Underway in Idaho Backcountry for Missing Pickens Man

Authorities in Idaho are searching for Soloman Wilkins of Pickens, South Carolina, after his blue Toyota Corolla was found abandoned in a remote backcountry area near the Meadow Creek Lookout, close to Stibnite and Yellow Pine. The Valley County (ID) Sheriff’s Office believes the car may have been parked there for several weeks, and initial weekend searches by local Search & Rescue teams have come up empty due to the rugged terrain. Anyone who may have seen Wilkins or his vehicle in the area is asked to call Valley County Dispatch at 208-382-5160 to help search teams establish a timeline.
