Season Passes not accepted for SC Playoff Games

With two varsity football teams playing Friday night in the first round of the state AAA playoffs, the School District of Oconee County (SDOC) reminds fans that they need to purchase a ticket. Oconee County Schools Assistant Superintendent of Operations Steve Hanvey says that season passes will not be accepted. “We’re excited about Seneca and Walhalla hosting first round playoff games this Friday but we also need to let folks know that because of South Carolina High School League rules there are no season passes that are allowed, if you have a gold card from the district office you cannot use that to get in. The only pass that is acceptable for any kind of playoff game is the South Carolina High School League Pass that is administered to school administrators and coaches. Tickets are $7 and both schools have indicated that they will honor Booster Club parking and reserve seats, but you still need to purchase an individual ticket to get into the game. So, no sports passes, no season tickets, no gold cards, none of those things per High School League rules this week. We hope that a lot of people will come out and support the Bobcats and the Razorbacks as they play at home in the first round of the playoffs.” Both games kick off at 7:30pm. Of course, you can listen to all the exciting action of Seneca Bobcat varsity football here on 94.1 The Lake, WSNW.
