Senator Tim Scott Issues Legislation In the U.S. Senate

(Seneca, SC)——— U.S. Senator Tim Scott announced this week that he has introduced legislation in the Senate, which is called the Creating Hope and Opporunity for Individuals and Communities Through Education Act. The Act would give military families, families of students with disabilities, and low-income students in Washington, D.C.—together, totaling more than 6.2 million students nationwide—, access to greater educational opportunity.
